Bega Valley Shire Library invites poets and writers to submit poems responding to your choice of 10 artworks from the upcoming Tideland exhibition to be held at SECCA, Bega. Submissions open: 16 December 2024 – 31 January 2025. Tideland runs at the South East Centre for Contemporary Art (SECCA) from 14 February to 10 April 2025.   The Tideland:  Art + Word Ekphrasis Challenge is calling for submissions of poems responding to 10 selected artworks which are part of the Tideland exhibition. Submitted poems will be considered for display alongside the corresponding artwork during the exhibition. Poets of each successful poem will be awarded $300 for their writing. Plus! The South Coast Writers Centre will publish the selected poems in their annual anthology for 2026.
