Celebration: Talking Together Project

Bega Valley Shire Library invites you to join us to celebrate Talking Together with project officer, Craig Garrett, and other library staff.

Everyone who’s been involved in the project is invited to a special celebratory event. The Talking Together project has had a broad impact on the community with people being involved as transcribers, interviewees, workshop participants, poets, musicians and other supporters. As Talking Together comes to an end, we feel it’s worth celebrating how the project has brought people together, providing a way to share stories and technological know-how and discovering insights to our area’s unique brand of resilience and care for each other.

The Talking Together Celebration will be on in Bega from 5.30pm-6.30pm on Friday 24 November at the Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre, Gulaga Foyer.

There’ll be canapes and a free drink as you arrive.

This is your chance to come together and meet up, talk and connect.

This is our chance to thank each of you for getting involved and generously sharing your time, thoughts, stories, support and experiences.

You’ll need to RSVP no later than Friday November the 17th.

If you can make it, please email me (cgarrett@begavalley.nsw.gov.au) with the Subject;
