In this beginner workshop you will learn how to work safely with resin, prepare a workspace, mix correctly, colour with pigments and pour onto a prepared board. You will be guided on how to create gorgeous patterns using movement and heat.  Choose from over 40 colours and embellish with crushed glass if desired. All the materials used are of the highest quality and by the end of the class, you will have completed a stunning resin art board ready to collect the next day (once the resin has cured)  No previous experience needed. From 1 July,  you will be unable to access Libby content. In making this decision, we considered user-friendliness of the product for customers and staff, popularity and customer usage of the content compared with other platforms, as well as reporting capabilities and vendor responsiveness. If you are a current user of BorrowBox, you will not have to update your existing app in any way, the eMagazine collection will simply show as a format option on the app. If you do not currently have BorrowBox, the app can be downloaded for free on both Apple and Android devices, your user name is your library member number and password is your eight digit birthdate DDMMYYYY. Bega Valley Shire Library is celebrating the completion of the courtyard upgrade at Tura Marrang Library.  With funding received from the State Library of NSW  Infrastructure Grants program, the courtyard has been revitalised and provides a wonderful new area for working, playing and relaxing. The upgrade took 10 months to complete and includes new garden plantings in raised garden beds, a large feature tree which will grow to provide shade and green space, a wave shade structure, new outdoor furniture, corton decorator panels and a Masterkidz STEM outdoor activity wall complete with soft fall mats.  Come along to our opening event on Saturday 10 June, 10am to 12:15pm.  There are plenty of events scheduled to keep the whole family happy: Free sausage sizzle and face painting.
